Scientific Laboratory Services provides equipment and supplies used by laboratories in handling biological specimens. We are not a "Covered Entity" or "Business Associate" under HIPAA with respect to our website or e-commerce operations unless a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is in place with a specific customer. Any protected health information (PHI) handled by our laboratory customers using our products remains the responsibility of that customer under their own HIPAA compliance program.
